Lucero-Mamac House

Published by

Located in the town of Argao, this house was built around the time of the building of the church of Argao and was originally owned by the Lucero family. Acquired by the Mamac family in the early 1900s, this is the only remaining 18th-century house in Argao that is still intact. The interior though is in a sorry state and needs to be restored.

im a 2nd generation mamac. my lolo bought ds house from d lucero’s. sad to say dat its in d state of deterioration but its still standing now though some parts are falling down. Ds heritage structure has a great impact and importance to my life because i made ds house as subject for my thesis in architecture. hope dat in tym ds house will be restored and be prevented from continuous deterioration and decay. hope dat financial assistance will be given by d government (if possible) in order to save ds heritage landmark as ds s d only remaining 18th century house in Argao for our future generation to see and appreciate.
