A view of the palatial-like church.

Dumanjug is a municipality in the southwestern part of Cebu province. The church, dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi, was built in 1854 and was finished in ten years. Much of the church interior is modern.

Dumanjug was a visita of Barili until it separated to become an independent parish on March 28, 1854.
