Monument to Ferdinand Magellan
A monument built in 1866 and dedicated to the great explorer Ferdinand Magellan. Nearby is a statue of Lapu-Lapu, the chieftain of Mactan who killed Magellan in a battle dubbed as the “Battle of Mactan.”
